Dallas Mavericks Star Willie Trill Cauley-Stein Signs 12-Month partnership agreement with superfood snack company Why Bars
Birmingham, Mich. (Sept. 8, 2021) - Why Bars, the superfood snack bar developed for bar eaters, by bar eaters, announced today a marketing and promotional partnership with NBA great Willie Trill Cauley-Stein of the Dallas Mavericks. The one-year barter agreement, effective immediately, provides Cauley-Stein with Why Bars throughout the NBA season. In exchange, he will promote the bars across his social channels and provide a discount code for them to his followers.

About Willie Trill Cauley-Stein
Willie Cauley-Stein just completed his sixth NBA season and his first with the Mavericks in 2020-21. He was acquired by Dallas from Golden State in exchange for a second-round pick on January 25, 2020 and re-signed with the club for 2020-21. The Spearville, Kansas, native was drafted sixth overall by Sacramento in 2015 after a three-year college career at Kentucky. Cauley-Stein holds career averages of 9.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 0.9 steals, 0.8 blocks and 22.6 minutes per game in 402 games (254 starts) with Sacramento, Golden State and Dallas. The 7-footer, who is a career 54.5 percent shooter, has shot at least 50 percent from the floor in each of his six professional seasons. He earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors with the Kings in 2015-16. Off the court, Cauley-Stein has helped design a collection of custom watches, with proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of a late childhood friend.
